A smile (and some other faces) you would never forget...!

Our friend, Dave Minchey, is going through a very challenging time right now.  His wife, our friend,  Erika has died and we are asking for your help. Some of Erika's friends have organized an online fundraiser to help Dave and their 4 daughters (ages 1 through 14) with any expenses. If you are able to contribute please use this link: If you work with Dave and can help please see Steve A or Martha. Erika was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme brain cancer and has been fightng it for nearly 3 weeks like the champ she is.  Friday, February 15, 2013 it was decided that her work here on Earth was done; I'm guessing there's an even bigger job for this sassypants woman elsewhere! I'm thankful she is now at peace and ask that you all please keep Dave and their daughters in your thoughts and continued prayers. Thank you!

Words can be so important!

The Brave Girls Club put out a call in Deceber 2012 for people to make Truth Cards and here are the details...
From Brave Girl's Club blog: How the Truth Card Exchanges will work: Over time we will identify different groups of women that we will target for a specific period of time, brave sisters from places all over the world, including right here at home. (We’ll connect with these women through our partnership with Full Circle Exchange, an innovative non-profit social enterprise brand dedicated to empowering women to rise above poverty through design partnerships and economic opportunities that are sustainable, holistic and dignified.)

My first batch of Truth Cards heading to Idaho!!

So excited-got my new Dexcom CGM G4 sensor today (CGM = continuous glucose monitoring system!)

Em posing with all her loot she got with her Christmas cash, even had some left to stash in her savings account!!

FINALLY I have red pants

Wearing sensors for both my new and old CGMs, they look to be pretty on target...even at this low!

At Scrappy Chic with my frends Michelle and Kristin, such a fun day!

I drive through this intersection each weekday morning and try to hit it going at least 45 if possible, it is a bit of a whoopty whoo (dip in the road) and just makes me laugh when I go over it!

I am very thankful that I am able to drop Em off at school each morning and then come to work!

time for CGM sensor replacement

Em's at my mom and dad's so Sean and I went to see "Jack Reacher", we were the only ones there for quite a while!
Great book series by Lee Child and pretty good movie I thought!

Sean-camera on and ready to roll!

Next qualifying round-patiently waiting...

Not too bad, 3rd place for the day!

At CJ's for BFL's going away party...Inspectron has left the building :(

Just another day at the office!

Em doing some morning reading!!

I love the pretty snow...especially when it covers up all of the muck on the roads!

Mad concentration at pre-dinner tic-tac-toe!

Furniture is gone and living comfortably at Kim's house now, repairs are underway-our living room floor is covered in blue tags to mark the spots that need attention.

Em didn't have school today because of some crazy weather conditions so she came to work with me!!
